Thought Bubble Outfit

Apart from my hands you don't really actually see a lot of me on my blog so this will be a change from the norm!

Two weeks ago there was a comic book convention in Leeds called Thought Bubble which I've attended for the last few years. I'm not majorly into comics but I like going for the atmosphere and seeing friends and they have a lot of stalls selling some great art.

So here's what I wore

Thought Bubble Outfit

Outfit Rundown
Dress and Headbow ~ Baby The Stars Shine Bright (L'oiseau Bleu)
Blouse ~ Dream V
Shoes ~ Bodyline
Wig ~ Cyperous
Tights ~ Primark

If you're not familiar with the style it's a Japanese fashion called Lolita ~ "based on Victorian-era clothing as well as costumes from the Rococo period" ~ although some it has strayed pretty far from those influences now! You can read more about it here if you're interested

  1. Hey that's awesome. Love the dress :-)

I've been right into the Lolita fashion ever since I saw Kamikaze Girls on Film Four a few years back. Have you seen it? I love it that much, got a huge cinema poster in my kitchen of it.

I'm so tempted to buy from Baby The Stars Shine Bright, but never sure about sizing and always worried about buying clothes online :-S

I managed to pick up a cracking pair of Red Rocking Horse Shoes, from a good seller on eBay. And if I get xmas money, was gonna get a black pair too! I love them.

    1. I love that film, it's ace :D If you ever want any advice on lolita purchasing just drop me an email, there are a couple of really great places online for buying stuff second hand which works out soooo much cheaper. Plus I just love talking about lolita!
